Well the coffee link stuff turned up yesterday. The Moka pot is okay, came with a spare replacement seal which is good, it’s a decent pot and seems well made but being honest if anyone’s looking for a Moka pot just buy an Alessi, much more expensive of course but much easier to use ie no screwing the base into the pot.
I tried the Ambush beans this morning and have to say they are excellent especially in milk, they’re not a million miles away from the Ride and Grind Guatemala beans I’ve been drinking recently but the CL beans are much better, probably the best light roasted beans that I’ve tried, never really managed to make decent espresso before with light roasts, but that’s really down to the Duo now which makes dialing in beans super easy, an amazing grinder.
