Decent De1pro v1.45 - Niche Duo - Niche Zero - Decent is the best machine ever made -

Ordered from Coffee Sensor on Sunday afternoon, delivered to North Yorkshire Tuesday Lunch! Excellent.

Meat as recommended by member dfk41. It looks very good quality. £36.69 and only £4.99 delivery from Gasgow. We will be tryng the ribeyes this weekend and I have cut the Brisket up and mixed it with the diced shin and vacuum sealed them in 250g packs (enough for just the two of us) perfect for slow long cooked stews or Beef Bourgignon.

We’ve been buying our meat from Farmison.

Pretty good and good prices too similar to the above though their rib eye steaks are about £14 for 250g I’ve a 25% discount code if anyone wants it.

We bought a couple of their Burns boxes for tomorrow night.

We have used Donald Russel previously they’re good too.

I don’t know that butcher btw but I’m over in the South Side of Glasgow so rarely in Bearsden.

Two packs of much appreciated but unnecessary Wendelboe coffees gifted by Jake! Can’t wait to try them out, but I don’t think they’ll last until the new Evo Leva arrives.

They got there quick, my parcel still hasn’t arrived 🤦

The karogoto is lovel. Esp on a lever. Freeze some to keep 😉😉😉

I’m definitely going to freeze the Korogoto. Low odds that I would get the temp right on my hx, so I’ll wait until I have the Evo at home. The Caballero should be close to my usual temp. Very excited to try both.

I just looked at the status of my package to you. Four days from Portland, Oregon to London. Six days knocking around in the UK (so far)…

Yeah, be in the hands of customs, the UK tracking says left USA 😂😂 UK is useless at everything

OldGregg I’ve read good things about this roaster, interesting descriptors too.

Is this for you to review/test or is this now your very own go-to personal machine?

Funny but even though I could never justify on buying a machine like that simply on my inability to be able to appreciate the nuances of coffee that such a machine would no doubt deliver, I am still a bit jealous because it looks beautiful and in my mind, what a coffee machine should look like.

Pompeyexile Is this for you to review/test or is this now your very own go-to personal machine?

A little bit of both. test, improve, write a revised, make a video overview, user guide and my own personal machine. The espresso is absolutely fantastic and I have been waiting a very long time (years) to get my hands on one.

I can’t really call anything I produce a review, because I’ve been involved in a few aspects of this machine, but I can at least tell people why I think it’s special.

@DavecUK Looks fantastic, and you’re comment about the espresso quality… what’s not to like?!!

LMSC Bizzare, the bags just have the best before dates, which are good 5-6 months away. Perhaps, they are recently roasted. I wasn’t expecting this. 😁

LMSC Last time I ordered from Darkwoods a few years ago the bag didn’t have a roast date either, coffee tasted fine.

I think my aliexpress goodies have arrived - quicker than a order from amazon 😂

This turned up in the post from an old friend, no note attached. I have never had Thai coffee before, so rang him to be told he had been working up in the Scottish Highlands in a small village with a coffee shop. It was run by a Thai lady who only stocked one coffee, bringing it over from Thailand. Mt friend who prefers nothing north of light/medium said it was ok for him, in an emergency! I will try it tomorrow. Nice label, apparently it is grown up the hill! No best before/roasted on date…….suck it and see!
