I have been wanting a decent quality blender for some time and always fancied the Magimix as the quality is second to non, but at £150 plus, it was out of my price range. But I always keep an eye out for a bargain, and once again Ebay stepped up to the plate.
Advertised as used only once or twice, I watched the auction which started at £50 and bided my time, and as the days ticked by it didn’t move…then on the last day (Sunday) it rose to £54. I couldn’t believe my eyes, surely the price will spike in the last half an hour to ten minutes as what usually happens. I waited until there was only 3 minutes to go and set my maximum bid of £65 and waited…and waited…and waited, until with ten seconds to go, I hit the submit button. Okay, there was always a chance someone else’s maximum could be higher, but that is the chance you take, and I am not a bid chaser, £65 was what I could afford and that was it. 5,4,3,2,1 seconds…. Congratulations, you have won!…. Hoozah! And for the princely sum of £60.99.

Exactly as advertise, looking virtually brand new, not a mark or scratch and no signs of use at all… Immaculate! It is built like a chuffin tank and will outlive me, I am sure.
