I’m going even smaller. Going to stick with Gaggia Classic for a couple of months and wait for a sale of a LM Micra or if a Mini pops up going down that route unfortunately. The Leva still tickles my senses but until a kitchen redesign, a LM will be biggest I can go to.

Even though I lost over £50 worth of stuff using AliExpress because it was really down to Evri and not them, I thought I would give it another go… This time the dosing ring and puck screen were delivered by Royal Mail and the Tamper by Evri. Both arrive within half an hour of each other… Phew!

All I can say is that I’ve never had a problem using AliExpress and like you say, the delivery is down to someone else. Often you’ll see the same stuff as on Amazon or eBay but at half the price and customer service is very good if/when needed so it’s mostly a no brainer to me. Having said that, I’ve never spent big money on anything from AE

That’s it! I am signing myself into a nursing home!

When my MHW-3BOMBER Tamper arrived it turned out to be the 53.35mm one when I wanted a 58mm one! I checked AliExpress thinking here we go again! and sure enough that is what I had inadvertently clicked on. I must have had a brain fart. So, now I have put it up for sale on Ebay for £40. It has the rippled base and had an extra 15lb spare spring.

I will put it on here for £38 plus postage and see if I get a sniff.

@Pompeyexile I understand exactly! My Bravo tamper arrived today and I had convined myself that I had ordered a 58mm when I wanted one to fit the Evo! Anyway, now it is here and looks very smart, since there are no instructions with it, can anyone explain what I do with it!
