Not today, but in the past month or so. My wife has been struggling with bad wrists, so tamping has been an issue for her. While taking a look at cheap auto-tampers on Aliexpress, I noticed one of the reviews was from Tom Poland…..ex of this Parish. After a quick email, he vouched for the incredibly cheap (£109 delivered all in) machine. Have to say, it’s been working perfectly! We’ll see how it holds up.
Also, from the “unnecessary toys” department, we see the addition of the MHW-3BOMBER WDT tool. I had seen mixed reviews, but I liked the look of it and gave it a go. It isn’t planetary…and can leave hollows in the center of the puck if used too rambunctiously, but we have it working well. Most importantly it’s fun….and I’m all about adding fun! :)
