DavecUK This version of the switch immersion dripper came and it’s really good glass and silicon. I’m quite pleased with it. It cost about £7.24 all in, inc tax, from Aliexpress. I will be using it for various grinder tests and filter coffee tests.
DavecUK Tal Have you got a link Dave? This one is really cheap looks like the same thing, as the one I bought is much more now. best to keep an eye on the site for another cheap one and ensure you select the dripper not the teapot or pot. The link below means you have to spend £8 for free shipping, so you could get one for a friend as well as a Xmas gift. Used mine this morning, really good. Small dripper is 7.32 before 20 VAT. Looks exactly the same as the £40 ones sold in the UK https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005007267422291.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.main.1.5fa9iC6wiC6whj&algo_pvid=e0bf38cc-5771-4f85-912e-606b1bd67cb1&algo_exp_id=e0bf38cc-5771-4f85-912e-606b1bd67cb1-0&pdp_npi=4%40dis%21GBP%2126.15%218.89%21%21%21235.80%2180.16%21%4021038e7717261327653214405e1d46%2112000040003696258%21sea%21UK%212109546084%21X&curPageLogUid=qS2Edh3pVEGv&utparam-url=scene%3Asearch%7Cquery_from%3A
Raja123 Sweven coffee have started up a sub. Pre-warning: these are for those who don’t mind paying for speciality coffees. I’ve found their offerings to be excellent - they are my go-to UK roaster: https://www.swevencoffee.co.uk/product/subscription/
whinmoor85 Raja123 Cool that they offer rare and exclusive coffees on that sub. Get the feeling with some subscriptions that they don’t offer the best stuff.
Raja123 I’ve hyphened it out in my previous post, Adrian. Might not be a roaster that interests you, though.
Raja123 Small community - most of the folks that drink the lighter boutique stuff have made their preferences known at one time or another.
Raja123 Probably worth scanning this thread, you’ll see preferences for roast level, perceived quality, and costs.
Raja123 Everything I’ve had from them thus far has been good. Just finished the Hachi and La Florida.
