Inspector - I’ve been using it as a single dose grinder - but let’s face it, it’s not what this grinder is intended for.
In any case, I’ve used it a few times, and I like the taste. I wouldn’t say it blows me away in comparison to the Niche, but I can definitely “Taste The Difference”™ - Even though I am I am not very good with tasting notes and all of that nonsense. The flat burrs (or that grinder) produces a clear shot. The Niche is more muddled, for sure.
But the workflow is a pain as a single doser. Hopper fed I’m sure it’s great, but as a single doser it’s not good, in my opinion.
