tompoland LH review if I’m understanding his conclusion correctly seems to be saying around the 18 min mark that the 78mm version doesn’t have espresso capability but the the 64mm version will.
It’s not really a review is it…I was forced to watch it at someone’s house.
- Didn’t see it grind end to end as usual
- music over grinding noise
- jump cuts everywhere missing out stuff
- no view of the grinds from each
- no view of the slurry bed
- No view of the burrs chamber and especially auger area after 8-10 grinds.
- pushing the extraction of the ode as he said, so no wonder there’s a taste difference
- is it about razors, or coffee
- click bait title..don’t people get a bit fed up of the Niche killer…
- Grinder word salad for 1.5 min making no sense starting around 13:30 minutes about which grinder is best, or not
I wish these things would be done properly. All I am seeing is fast talking opinions, how great it’s going to be with Espresso burrs, which is not a given! I unsubscribed a while ago because he is becoming harder and harder to watch and listen to. I think in one of his videos some months ago there were the cheaply made (Chinese) Japanese knives which loads of “influencers” were promoting.
I’m finding more and more coffee influencers videos a bit of a turn off, especially when they struggle to get clicks and views, moving from one latest thing to another.
I don’t do many reviews now, but when I do, I try to do it properly because I end up feeling some responsibility for people who make buying decisions based on my reviews. Especially when I get e-mails like this, and I do get a lot of them. It’s the “currency” I like to earn best.
