Hmm, okay. It’s not really about money, or discounts for me - but these things can just end up taking up a lot of time, and that’s something that I don’t have a lot of 😬
In the past, we’ve always offered some kind of discount to forum members in recognition of the fact that:
a) it helps out those that may struggle with the cost of stuff (this particular coffee is not cheap), and can therefore prompt some engagement from people that might find businesses like ours outside of what they would usually look at. Yes, this might lead to us picking up the odd new customer (great!).
b) there is value for us in doing things like this, as people on forums tend to be very open about their experiences when sharing within their own group and real feedback is priceless.
I’ll stick with the original suggestion if no-one objects too much. Use the code if you want, donate the saving you make to the forum if you want. Again, it’s really just about making it easier for me to administer everything.
