Wanted 51 mm puck screen

So I ordered a puck screen from Aliexpress but alas it was not meant to be… After waiting 2 months it seems like Hermes lost it 😭 I don’t have it in me to order a new one to wait 2 months again (and other ones I found are too expensive). Does anyone have a spare one they bought (I suppose some people who bought off Aliexpress bought a few different filter sizes to test out). Thanks 😊

I lost hope and gave up 2.5 months after ordering a small item from AliExpress, then two weeks later it came through the letterbox, so maybe there is still a chance?

If you don’t want to wait, Blue Star coffee has them. Works out just over 10 Euros (~£8.5) delivered to the UK.

MediumRoastSteam That’s costing me £25 with delivery, for reference from Aliexpress it cost £4 including delivery (for the exact same thing with a logo slapped on, as coffee sensor and Bplus source from similar Chinese manufacturers/Alibaba). To be fair the delivery is a lot faster compared to Aliexpress, but the big price difference puts a sour taste in my mouth to overpay so much :/

Doram no sorry I meant when I previously searched for a puck screen (before buying it from Aliexpress), I don’t recall seeing bluestarcoffee when searching back then 🙂.

EDIT: It says on their site that royal mail will collect the VAT, and I assume + the £8 royal mail handling fee :|

I ordered one from Amazon the other day (58mm) from this company (they do 51mm too). It’s pretty good from what I can tell after 2 uses.

So I ordered a 51.5 mm from blue star coffee, it took 1 week to arrive but they sent the wrong one, 53.5 mm 😂… Very good quality though and only £10 including delivery. Good customer service too, they are sending me the correct size and I can keep the 53.5 mm. Not sure what to do with that one though

It does exactly what I wanted it to do in terms of clean pucks and also keeps the group very clean which is noticeable when I run water through it to clean after pulling a shot. A damned sight more successful than most accessories I’ve ever bought. But that’s another story 😆

LMSC it for sure works, not really overhyped. Also it’s more useful for lever machines. Is it worth more £10? No, these companies like Bplus are raking in the ££ from coffee fans who don’t know better…

The best one I saw was on another forum where someone was buying this brush (or a very similar one) from the Aliexpress because an official one was around £100 to buy - not sure which brand it was but £100???? I couldn’t believe my eyes
