1:14 at 250g is 17.9g, round it to 18g.
You don’t seem to like weaker brewed coffee, so I don’t know why you would reduce the dose to 1:16 (lowest end of Nordic and absolutely no overlap with 1:12.5, your most recent preference).
If the Aiden doesn’t know how much coffee you are adding, how is it delivering the right amount of water for any ratio? Can you not let it think it has 18g, then just put 20g in for 250ml?
You can make a Switch brew at almost any ratio. How coarse are you grinding & how long are you steeping?
I brew for 1:30 at 1:8.5 (18g:150g but you can scale up), breaking the crust at 1:15. 88 on a Niche Zero. I want a quick, bold, tasty cup, in one hit/pour.
If you are brewing at the same grind as for the Aiden, try 1:14 and leave it 5 min + (tune steep time to that which still gives coffee hot enough to enjoy.
For the sake of simplicity, I wouldn’t keep changing dose & brew water weights.
