She apparently can’t read. Even near the end she discovers the kit built in to the top – “oh, wow”.
Rewind – she did not need to do any of this to make exceptional coffee. The machine does that out of the box. Further, the profiles are increasing over time including profiles originating with roasters.
She wanted to create a custom profile, but did not or perhaps could not read the manual or watch the Fellow tutorials. If she had it would have taken a fraction of the time to set up the custom profile that was not necessary but which she desired.
If you bought a new TV, new computer, new spreadsheet, new vehicle, you would actually need to read the instructions to know how to use it properly. Modern coffee machines are no different. One takes the fifteen minutes or so and then is done for life.
I abhor intellectually lazy people.
And she keeps going on – doesn’t come with a grinder, scales, …… What trash is her benchmark?
Enough about her
Clearly the machine is extremely well designed; really well thought through. It will only improve as firmware, the app, and the profile database are extended and enhanced. No more difficult than your Aiden.
Despite the reviewer shortcomings, I’m actually much more chuffed about this than I was. If I were to migrate from levers to pumps, this machine and Decent would be the first and likely only machines I’d look at.
