I have done this to try and improve the section…I have software that will display enhanced things like images etc,, in discussion summaries, unfortunately it uses something called sort order and by default that order is Last Post as it should be. This doesn’t work for classifieds because the last post doesn’t contain any item details
As the software can’t have a different sort order for different tags…I am trialling a new system whereby classifieds can be posted, but only responded to privately…which ensures the only post for the item is the first one made. We will see how it works out for a while, and can always change it back if needed.
Of course ideally I need the software extension changed and have put in a request on the support forums…you never know.
P.S. I do have an idea for a shoutouts to a classifieds ad I’m going to try, keep em peeled for more news.
