@"RobertRo101"#p9667 I've been using the V3 for almost a year now…low flow works well. Especially good if you don't want to move the paddle..It was one of my favourite new things on Bianca. For the upgrade you would need a new LCC, some wiring and the additional solenoid with a slight plumbing change.

The Bianca Review is a version 1, so quite old now. I may well update it…essentially the machine is unchanged except for the addition of the new features. I may have a few extra features the production version doesn't have, and my solenoid is slightly different (they are sending me a replacement, if I get any problems with mine)… I was originally sent it to try it and see if there were any problems…which there were not…it wall worked very well. I don't think I have a manual, but I will download the production manual as my version a year ago has something else I won't mention, until I find out if it was in the production version. I suspect my software might not be exactly the same version, but again until you guys by one and if the software version is on the back of the LCC I won't know…plus mine could still have been a reflashed LCC. I have to be very careful when commenting on pre production stuff so early in the chain. Really like the version 3 though, as compared to the version 1, lots of features were new….and I do need to update my version 1 to a version 2.

This is why, despite my recent challenges, I really love the Bianca (and Lelit). I have been toying with updating to LCC 2. I may hang fire and update to LCC v3 though, with my new found boldness for tinkering with the machine 😉

The Low flow used in conjunction with PI seems to be a good combination. Dave, have you been using just the low flow or do you always use the PI with it ?

Really great feature. It basically mirrors the profile I use 99% of the time so it’s handy to be able to automate it. It’s also really awesome to see Lelit iterating on what is already a fantastic machine.

It’s impressive how quickly the group head pressure changes when the low flow kicks in.

Its a good option, not sure id rip my machine apart for it, but its a good out the box incentive to buy the v3 over a competitor

Sadly, flashing a current LCC would then make it look for the new hardware…and I would imagine when it doesn’t find it, it would get upset. So it’s not even feasible to get some upgraded features. Where of course it is an issue is in the future when you need an earlier version of the software, or get an LCC that a manufacturer has had for a while and use it in a later machine.

Hopefully Lelit are keeping good records, so they can tell what version of the software your machine has…unless you upgraded it of course..

The Bianca V3 is certainly interesting. But my question is… Is the “low flow” adjustable? For instance, in the video it seems to be at around 4 bar. Could you make it 6? In essence, can you adjust how far that solenoid opens?

No that’s not the way it works…the low flow rate is fixed….It does make a big difference though and was my go to. Next time you are round, I will recommission the machine and you can have a play.

4 bar seems a bit arbitrary unless that’s all they can achieve?

HVL87 It is what it is… I actually had a similar idea about 4 years ago for the vesuvius, using a multiway solenoids for selectable flow rates, I figured Low, medium, and High. Allowing you to select a flow rate at each profile stage.

Would have been good…one day perhaps, or perhaps I can persuade Lelit, or ECM.

Hi all, I’ve just joined the Lelit Bianca club, just got a V3 from BB and have a question that im sure @DavecUK will be able to answer. It seems there is an eco mode which puts the machine in standby after 30 mins of non use. Im trying to figure out how to disable this as that’s pretty useless given the 30 min warmup time. Im not sure if there is a fault with my machine or I just need to work out how to disable this. I’ve got the power saving mode in the menu turned off (have also tried it set at 540 mins) and the machine seems to only stay warm for around 30 mins. If I leave it 4-5 hours it’s completely cold when I return.

Any ideas greatly appreciated 😬

Maybe if you register your machine into care.lelit, there will be a page with the normal manual and an advanced manual with much more information. At least this is the case for MaraX owners.

The standby mode is not something you can disable from the LCC…If I remember rightly, because I have not used mine for a little while, the procedure is the same as on the MaraX

Standby mode – Enabling/disabling

MaraX must be switched off
Lift the coffee lever
Power the machine through the on/off button
The standby status is toggled.
1. If the standby is on after 5 seconds the on/off light starts flashing slowly and the status changes to standby off.
2. If the standby is off after 5 seconds, all lights flash to confirm the switch to active standby
Power cycle (switch off and on) the machine to save the settings
