What does the V2 mean in terms of technology? Is it still the same machine or has it been improved functionally? Mine has just turned 2 years delivering impeccable shots and yet the itch is here. Can anyone shed some light?

I’ve spoken to Paolo and Maria on the phone a few times over the last couple of weeks for updates and understand that there have been a few issues that have caused the delay. I was told last week to expect dispatch before the end of the month.

I’m sure @Paolo_Cortese is looking after it and there’s nothing to worry about.

caffeineus_impervious I would not worry I am sure Paolo has everything in hand. I was having problems transferring the money as it kept being rejected by the bank. Paolo was busy with the show at Rimini at the time, You could not have asked for anyone more helpful, Paolo kept in touch at every opportunity trying to sought things out even though he was busy. You will soon be receiving your new toy to play with I am sure.

My Brewtus that I won in a raffle over on the other forums is dead and not worth spending the £4/500 repair bill. So, I’ve been looking at investing in a new machine. I’m between the Vesuvius V2 and Letit Bianca which seem to be available around the same price.

Which machine would be the better unit?

Apcreek It would depend on what you really want to get from the machine, where your interests lie. Both are nice machines, but very different..

Profiling is all new to me as I haven’t been following latest coffee tech tbh but a guy I know told me it is the future of espresso machines, so thought I’d look at getting a machine capable now.

I’m looking for a pretty looking rotary dual boiler PID machine that is easy to maintain and ready available parts should issues arise.

It will be partnered with a Mythos grinder.

It’s finally here!! The box has taken a bit of a bashing on the way, but the machine looks ok. Will have to wait for the weekend to start flushing etc and the first coffee. Exciting times!!
