At the risk of sounding like a Daz commercial…..How do you clean yours?
I recently bought a second hand grinder - a Eureka Atom 75E. Condition is great, and performance is great, but the burrs are really really grubby! It’s like it’s only been used for super oily dark roast and the burrs have an almost tar like black stickiness to them. I removed the burrs and brushed them which did very little, and ended up using a flathead screwdriver to try and dislodge the more greasy stuff. The burrs have even started to rust a little on the sides - I don’t think the last owner ever cleaned them. Stupidly I didn’t take a picture before I reassembled and filled the hopper.
So, what would you do? Would Grindz do the trick? Puly - think the stock burrs are steel so imagine it would be okay? Fairy and a nail brush?
Any advice welcome!
