The forum has a rich set of functions that are not obvious at first glance. Here's one you may have missed. Pop out side windows that can be pinned as well. If you are reading through a post, without having to go back to the main area, you can pop out a window. **Just move the mouse pointer to the far left of the screen, and it will pop out.** Pin it if you want and select another discussion to drop into. I believe **new posts are listed in the landing page**, and in your pop out pinnable sidebar, if you are viewing posts. If it's an area you have contributed to, it's highlighted…if you have not yet posted in the area it's just listed from top to bottom. So it's exactly the same as CFUKs new posts link. It doesn't show activity like "likes etc..", that's shown in your personal notification bell Icon, which you can configure in the settings option of your profile to show more or less alerts. It's there automatically at the main screen (landing page), you don't need to click on anything to see it Hopefully that answers the question? *P.S. I should mention it lists the discussion, not the individual post, because it's the discussion that has been updated…click on it and it takes you to the first new post.*

Another function you may not have found it quoting what someone has said. Simply go to their post, highlight the text you want to quote and a quote option pops up. Click it and it inserts that quote into your post and tags it with the author. Unlike most other forums. If later you quote someone else, the same process and it adds it into your post and tags the person again….none of this multiquote button nonsense…plus it only quotes the bit you select. yardbent Profile —-> Settings. You can enable or otherwise the features you want to be notified. You will then notifications.

Profile —-> Discussions. When you click a thread, you can also choose follow it.

I have disabled most of them, as all latest updates appear on top of the screen for me.

yup, they obviously updated Flarum at the same time and loads of extensions are broken? I can only hope they get updated and fixed soon, or I will have to remove the busted ones.

They seem to be ‘fixing themselves’ as loading of functionality is progressing. The “like” stuff is now working properly on my screen, but it wasn’t until 10 minutes ago.

CoyoteOldMan I’ve been running forum fixups, as extensions are being updated a fixup gets them working again…sometimes. Emojis are back now, but using a different extension. It will all be OK in a few days I hope.

I’d like the front page titles to come good on the right hand page widgets tho…

Those are translation keys. Depending on how they are handled, an asset refresh would do the trick. On Mac, try a cmd+R or clear cache/website data. If it’s server-side handled, then there’s not a lot that it can be done until the issue is resolved.

Except my iPhone, I don’t access the site on iPad or PCs. I did clear the cache, cookies and browsing history on Safari before posting that yesterday. I did that again just now. The issue doesn’t resolve. We shall wait for it to resolve itself! 😊
