Frothbewithyou Just want to say while doing my ‘tasting tour of uk roasteries’ Extract coffee has been my favourite for espresso/milk based drinks.
I think that’s a good thing to do…you can find out the coffees (variatels and origins) you like, then try the same or similar coffees from different roasters…especially picking up a bargain on those coffees whenever you see a deal. Especially if a roaster is trying to clear out the last of a coffee (the greens will still be very fresh in a busy roaster) to make way for new coffees.
I think coffee has to be a journey, trying different coffees to see what you like, then a selective process grabbing the good deals and identifying the roasters you like.
One of the most important things is to know exactly what you are buying…..that way you can seek out the best deal from roasters you know you like.
