Always a fan of long blacks from shots, provided the beans are uni-roast or espresso roasts, IMO. The aroma, strengths and notes are different to a pour over for me. I do pull shots from filter roasts to drink either as an espresso or as a latte. The black coffee on filter roasts thru’ a pour over shine though.
In the last 2-3 months, I make at least 2 long blacks a day using either a V60 or a Clever to save on energy bills. The Evo is switched on just 2 times a day - morning and evening.
