Very good interview, if a little ‘softball’ at times.
I very much like his approach and ethos to his different endeavours, and how he claims to be hands off now and has strict protocols in place to keep him such - I’ve heard very senior people in large organisations I’ve worked in before talk of their styles and how things work and the reality on the ground can be 100% different. Some people talk a good talk, he did come across as very genuine though so I’d be inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt on it all (but the best psychopaths are often the most plausible).
I also think he got a slightly easy time on claims of not caring much about money, which is of course easier to do from a position of great financial security.
He’s a very interesting character though and great communicator - I’m inclined to think he’s as he portrays himself but have a slight nagging voice in my head saying he’s very very good at showing a face to the world he wants it to see and judge him on.
