simonc Oh ok, at least that’s one thing you can take off the checklist. I attempted one this morning and was able to restrict it to 2 bar but after increasing it only went up to 8 bar, which tells me that I need to grind finer, so you’re probably correct. Think we’ve all been there, I did near enough the same thing recently and grounds went everywhere.
The machine has last shot protection so even if low on water, it would have enough to finish the shot before you’d have to refill. I don’t believe it would start if there wasn’t enough water. I may be wrong with your style of sensor though. Mine has the sensor in the tank but I never seem to get alerted at the right time, instead it’s always when I come down in the morning to see it’s not heated up due to lack of water so try to remember to always check before I close everything up for the night.
Keep us updated on your progress and if/when I get it to work I’ll do the same. I’ve also started watching a few YT vids on profiling with the Bianca to get some ideas on profiles as can’t be too different as long as electronic pre-infusion isn’t used.
