Up until today I’d not had good results at all but I had an enjoyable cup this morning, it was for two cups though.
Ugandan Kirano, light roast, 30g / 500g.
60g bloom for 60 seconds, I swirled the brewer after each pour so 60-300g to 1:45, swirl, 300-500g to 2:45, swirl. Last drops around 4:00.
Got a very clean cup with good clarity although somewhat thin. Black tea-like mouthfeel. It worked for this coffee but the lack of body would probably detract from more traditional flavour notes.
The caveat here is that it’s an unfamiliar coffee so I’ve got no previous extraction to compare with.
