- Clean the pitcher and leave it to dry
- Let the water dry completely or as much as possible from the filter
- Wrap each filter with aluminium foil and cling film.
- Keep it in the fridge.
On your return, sanitise at least 5 L - 10L.
As Dave said, I went for 15 days, it was on. Not sure if fungus / mould will grow in fridge as you are away for a month.
For an example, we changed the filter recently. After using the mineralisation cartridge for a few days, we have removed, wrapped and kept it in the fridge. It’s been 5 weeks and we are not sure if it is safe to put it back. We aren’t missing it, tbh as it doesn’t add anything to the taste. 😊
