Cuprajake Another fat bloke here. No processed food, and generally fresh/good choices. Intermittent fasting, so only eat between 12 and 6, and often less.
The ‘killer’, as @LMSC said is the lack of exercise. I was starting to have a morning walk, and also do resistance training (bands/TRX), and it worked fantastically for little input - I hate it all - but then got covid over Christmas which has stopped that - no energy - and so even though I’m eating well under the ‘numbers’ so far as calories are concerned, my sedentary life keeps my big.
It doesn’t have to be much movement - if keeping the diet/lifestyle healthy - and (intermittent) fasting absolutely worked for me - but there does need to be enough. Walking + weights, or more aggressive cardio, depending on what you enjoy, or can put up with.
Oh, and only drinking espressos or pour-overs. If you’re drinking those milk drinks, well… all bets are off.
