Juanjo But my main concern here is that there is yet another screeching sound… This happens when the pump ramps up to 10bars. Sometimes is louder, others is lower… but it always does it.
Not sure if I pick it up correctly from the video, but I think it sounds like something is touching something else and the vibrations from the pump make things rub and make a noise. I assume you have checked and it’s not coming from the cup raiser you have on top of the machine or from one of the grills (on the drip tray and cup warmer), right?
I think you have two options: 1. You can take off the cover, run the machine and see if you can spot where the noise is coming from and if you can easily move things so it stops (not when it’s connected to the electricity, of course). Or 2. As the machine is only three days old - it might be better to contact your seller, show them the video and ask for advice?
As for the screech from the cam - yes, you shouldn’t have to do it on a new machine (presuming you didn’t do a chemical backflush yet). If you make a video of moving the lever up and down a few times (the machine can be Off) then it will be easier to hear if it’s not normal. In any case, yes, it’s very easy to lube the cam, and yes - a new machine should come lubed.
