The rechargeable batteries wouldn’t work well with jewellery scales, would it? Mine is temperamental. It sets to zero without any weight. No sooner I keep a cup, the display would show a **lo battery** and will switch itself off. Strangely, this doesn’t happen with standard batteries! 😏

@"LMSC"#p22031 a rechargeable cell has a full charge voltage of 1.2 volts which is close the output of a non rechargeable cell when it is almost fully discharged. If the scales or any device are not designed to use rechargeable cells either by automatically detecting the cell type or by you pressing a switch or altering something in their setup to tell it you are using rechargeables you will get these odd effects and messages that the battery is low.

For v60 - otherwise too many sets of scales around. They're pretty good, but I don't find them responsive/ quick enough. After 2 years of use the ingress is starting to show as well.

I've also bodged a card screen between the E61 exhaust and the scales since that was where most of the moisture was coming from. I will come up with a more elegant solution in time…
