Cro55y - where would you say that water is dripping from? Reason I say this, is that it’s strange, to me at least, that water in liquid form is dripping there, rather than steam evaporating.
Is it coming from one of the hoses? Or just the junction with the safety valve where it meets the filling?
Dave knows a lot better than me, but, as a starting point, I’d try to tighten the safety valve to the filling just slightly, if coming from there.
What I am not sure is, if there was thread sealant, it might break the seal all together (not that there’s a seal anyway) - meaning that you would need to then undo the filling, wrap some PTFE round and then put it back.
It’s a very crowed part of the machine, so you might even need to disconnect a few hoses.
Or cut your loses and send it back to the retailer for them to repair it.
PS: you should be able to use the machine in ECO mode (steam boiler off) and at least have an espresso or two.
