Huky propane regulator is bad

My propane flow stopped after about four years of usage with this regulator. At first I thought I might be out of propane but by weight the tank is about half full and it works fine on another device with a different regulator so it must be the regulator. It’s the regulator provided by Mr. Li, a Yung Shen model 888A. I believe it’s 37mbar. I’m in the UK and looking for a 50 mbar regulator that fits a FloGas tank. So far it seems I can only find a 37 mbar hand tightened version. Are 50 mbar versions available with a rubber gasket at the end (hand tightened version)?

37 mbar is the British standard for low pressure regulators OR 28/ 30 for butane.

Why are you after a 50 mbar regulator ?

Apparently some low pressure regs have a bypass valve, if it fails it cuts off gas supply and cannot be reset/ also fail due to age.

What does the plate on your appliance state m/bar ?

The stove is the one Mr. Li provides but there’s no plate attached.

I think I’m going to go with the 37 mbar regulator. 50 mbar is probably overkill.

thusband I cannot imagine a small 500g gas roaster will need more than a standard 37mbar regulator.

I’m sure you’re right. I usually roast around 400g so there’s even less of a need. I’m going with the 37mbar.
