In a never ending search for roasters and beans and my constant forgetting I thought it may be good to have a thread where we can all post what we have and use and flavour notes and if they come through I often struggle to remeber what I've had and seen on here Apologies if there's a thread like this

Excel is the best way to keep it alive. Am happy to create one and share - what I liked and didn’t - some time next week. Just a simple file and nothing complicated. @"DavecUK"#1 may perhaps load that on the server so that users can add their preferences. Not sure, how it will work though

Crankhouse from Exeter are really nice people and produce some awesome coffee too! Rave are my go to big roaster. I also used to get some from Roastworks but they keep pushing those stupid pollution pods (Nespresso) and I morally hate those things.

Yeah used crafthouse and crankhouse before. My go to has been north star.

I've been keeping the following for a while. As you can see, most of my coffee has come through Dog and Hat, but I've noted the original roaster and then use this to trawl go direct to roasters for a top up. I have a tendency to mark highly because I tend to go for beans I know I'll like, so it's rare I come across something I really dislike. Robti just use their guides, they usually say whether they recommend espresso brewing. I think it’s a matter of personal taste but their core range should all go well with milk, maybe their more expensive ranges should be drunk without milk but even then I’m sure anything they class as medium roast ⅗ would work

LMSC Linea who are based out of San Francisco is hands down the best roaster in the US and I won’t hear anyone tell me otherwise

I have noticed quite a difference from roasters when spending over a certain amount, free delivery kicks in.

I’ve seen free delivery after a £20, £25 and £30 spend. £20 for a local roaster here in North Yorkshire, £25 for Rave and the £30 for Darkwood. Makes a big difference to what I can and when I buy. Is this down to some roasters coffees being more specialist and therefore dearer to import, or what?
