Thats the spray,

I didnt undo the spring, still to tight to undo

The spray was used inside the sprig and around the spring

The rest was greased as per @Systemic video guide 😁👍

The base are different among the productors. Bravo base 54,3mm for H32 standard basket. 54,9mm for H26 standard (is different from the H32) and H32/H26 IMS basket.

I just received my order from Bravo. He made me custom 54.44 base and said he would make a bunch of 54.44 bases in preparation for Evo orders. I also got from him 54.9mm base for IMS baskets and he suggested a 55.05mm distributor for the IMS.

My machine still stuck in customs so I can’t report on fit yet.

Eiffel I like the IMS 26 basket, but it limits dose to 16g with some beans

I mostly use 18g on IMS 26 except decaf or want a long black. For decaf, it is 17g and 16g for a long black!

Cuprajake Wow. I never had the issue since getting the Bravo tamper. With the convex Torr, I did, on the IMS 26. The puck will get stuck on the screen and the edges. I had to dose 16.5g.

Cuprajake ah! Same here; it’s fine after tamping with Bravo. I can’t dose dose more than 16.5g with the convex 54.4 Torr.

Is it possible to get the EVO Leva complete plumbed without pump, or is this a mod to the existing machine with gear pump ?

cimbali Just got a quote for a Leva from ACS, no mention of a ‘no pump’ option, though the mod seems straightforward enough.

cimbali after the mod, the pump is totally disabled and you rely on the outsource pressure

Torr Convex 54.4, Stock basket and 16.5g. It is perfect for my basket. I won’t know if there are dimensional inconsistencies in the stock baskets.

Wow! I pulled my morning coffee on the stock today. It was the same Ethiopian Haru. I could straight away tell the cup was pretty muted on the stock than the IMS 26. The stock will go back to our Coffee accessories box, unless the situation demands it. 😂

A convex base tamper can only extract the center of puck. I think is very taste waste with this machine

To add to the tamped discussion: I use a 55mm bravo tamper. As I prefer maximum tight fit without suction. It only fits with IMS not with the stock. Hence the test difference between the baskets: diameter, depth, and possibly holes numbers? Thats the water flows differently across the baskets…

Quick tip: get an extra spring with lower pressure if you are ordering from Gilberto.
