Jokes aside… I tried with and without. If I don’t use it, I get multiple streams on the bottomless PF and channeling.

Oof, I would manage to get that stuck in the basket holes and widen them up a tad!

JahLaza I’d snip off those points. On mine I glued a £1 coin to the base which helps keep it steady and upright. Wrapped the whole cork in self amalgamating tape, which is grippy and acts like the grip on tennis racquets. Found the plastic corks slightly easier to work with. Also wrapped a tiny square magnet on the side of the base under the tape so it can also just stick to any metal surface to keep it tidy.

Stevebee all great tips cheers. I’m not looking to win any competition or anything though!! I don’t go too deep into the puck, maybe halfway so it’s a very rough and ready operation and seems to work ok!

Cost of new feet, should any one be interested in

The price of the four feet is €56,00 + the price of the two brackets is €100,00 + shipping to UK €50,00. The sterling cost at the current exchange rate is about £175 + UK VAT and customs.

There is no need to drill a hole to fit the bracket or the feet.

dfk41 I think ACS modified the feet to address the issue of some machines ‘bending’ at the joint between the drip tray and the main machine body, more than to improve the looks.

Possible. There is no need to upgrade as long as any perceived issue doesn’t deteriorate from the current state. However, it should give those a comfort that an alternate is available, should they wish.

On the bend - slight or significant - between the drip tray and the main body, I am sorry that I judge this to be a nit-picking than a serious / a performance impacting issue.

I would have liked the lever magazine to focus their review on note-worthy features, the performance of the cup, and so on than on fringes. Folks started noticing it only after the lever magazine pointed out.

The good part of these enhancements is ACS listens to customers’ feedback!

Cuprajake Scope to work on the distribution a bit and perhaps you may consider tightening the grind a bit. I would first loosen the grind and see. Is it Niche?
