The user guide and technical manual are the producers’ responsibilities, not yours!
They also need to ensure the designer — more important if the designer is writing the manual — is aware of the final production design.
IMO, inconsistencies like this can be easily avoided, considering the user may be left wondering why the steam / milk smells of chemicals (after descaling thru an easy route) 🤔😂
If we look at the big picture, we still have a user guide unlike other machines, the machine is awesome and tests like these are parts of the learning curves.
We really appreciate the time and effort you are putting to help us. The coffee community owes you and other contributors a great deal.
