LMSC my wife may not think the back machine is aesthetic pleasing facing the dinning table. So she may not approve me to put it on the island :)

41cm is great. I am not sure why ACS website listed the height as 50cm.

The lever height is fine. I can give up the bottle storage above (current clearance from worktop to the lowered part of the bottom of the storage is 44). I can also add a table to extend the worktop a bit to the left.

I think it’s because the Evo isn’t a box… the cabinet back - which is the relevant measure to answer “does this fit under my kitchen cabinets?” is 41.5. The group with the lever fully engaged (“down”) is 50. The machine with the lever at the top of its vertical extension is 78.5

Because the top of the machine isn’t flat, the panel containing the screen is slightly higher than the part behind. Not normally an issue, because that part is usually well forward of standard kitchen cabinets.

The new style machine with Vostok style feet and rails may be a slightly different height…worth asking someone to check.

Your bottom of the shelf extends further down. Please ensure you have an adequate clearance. You could also consider the Utility room, if available.

ar. I searched the google pic and see how the front part is higher. Judging by my own measurement of the space, it seems to be okay. If not, I can chop down the bottom part of the lowest shelf on top. We are also quoting for garage conversion to open up the front part of the house (the area with children in the pic). If I’m lucky, I may be allocated 10-20 sqf for a cabinet so I can put the machine on top of it. Thinking how far I should go to get the feeling of pull a commercial lever. I get it when people said Bianca will be an easy decision for space. Or the L is a bit more space demanding but need to give up some features. There is no perfect option I guess.

Knluk Not aftermarket, but ACS cost option (€150, if I remember right). Same for olivewood handles.

DavecUK thanks for sharing. On a related note, what made the shot so different compared to the Strega? Temp control? Or commercial lever? I wonder because the storage supposed to be a great lever(?) and I expected not much different in cup.

DavecUK My machine has been in DHL warehouse 40 km from my house for last 4 days. Canada Custom has not released the machine and DHL can not deliver it to me. 😥 Anticipation. Anticipation.

Max width = 37. Depths - all measured from the back panel (although I wasn’t holding the camera straight or level, so the arrows seem to point to different reference planes). The steam/water tap handles fit within the profile of the drip tray (~15 mm back from it)

Knluk From my reading of reviews/posts, I think the Evo is significantly easier to get a good shot with, and consistently so. @Hugonl37 had a Strega before the Evo, I believe.

Also bear in mind that the Evo is about twice the price… and a completely different machine starting from double, PID controlled boilers (vs. a thermostatically-controlled HX) and a quite different group.
