Does anyone find the group temp always struggle to hit the SP?; this is after the machine has fully warmed up - 30 mins. In my case, it hits the SP, then, on its way down, which is normally -1C, it will get stuck 0.6C - 0.7C below the SP. This happens in 9 of 10 cases, where I am ready to pull the shot. I often have to wait 2-3 mins at least. Once, I had to wait for more than 10 mins to pull a shot.
I have addressed it by keeping the temp 0.5C above my shot temperature, therefore it will always be at my preferred group temp. I will then drop the temp by 0.5C and pull the shot.
My group PIDs are 3, 0.03, 5, 40. The P at default 2.0 or 2.5 did not help as from the low swing, it will take ages to go towards the SP. The P of 3 is better, but still it won’t go.
