Few questions from early use of the Evo to other owners -
Had warning this morning for low water level - the tank was just over a third full - is this normal? Seemed very premature.
The plastic lid on the water tank is doing my head in, I find it very awkward to remove and fill up due to the tubes at each end of it. Anyone got any creative solutions to combat this? Is it even needed?
How do I test that the safety feature is working properly? I started releasing the lever with no portafilter in the group but it didn’t feel like anything was kicking in to stop it from flying back at a rate of knots.
My last question which will make me sound like an idiot, what type of screwdriver do I need to get top panel off to inspect inside? I have never seen screws like that and not mentioned in manual.
With regards to coffee - experiencing very wet soppy pucks with aggressive channelling in same spot every shot - think I need to grind a lot coarser than I’m used to and see if that helps. Steep learning curve for sure!
