The one thing I’m impressed with (apart from just the whole machine of course) , you did not mention. The back connector on the water and steam valve is now straight, not a bl*"!y elbow. The grief that elbow caused on older and other models!!
That is a massive improvement in real life terms when “that day” comes!
Most people will not think about this, but as the lady said, every little helps.
To me even a small improvement like this is a real-life - big help
For what it is worth Im Over the moon with mine.
I can fully agree also with all the comments being made about stainless Drilling. I have to drill a lot of A4 stainless camera brackets. Even at the correct speed and plenty of fluid the drill bits do not last long, and I’m not talking about jobber bits from Screwfix either.
I have not yet tried the safety sleeve but may have a good look at it and possibly try a mod with a couple of extra holes. Would be interested how it reacts and how the extra area works, or doesn’t.
I also have to say I think long term even if I have a play with the safety sleeve it will not be a permanent fixture. But, curiosity and all that…..
And last but not least, cosmetically I would not have mentioned the internal scratches. Just my opinion and I realise it seems to have taken a back seat now.
