Thinking of adding the flush lever to my Evo V1(anyone else done that mod?) and replacing the gauge as it’s sitting at 2 bar.

Would it be best to contact Maria at ACS to see if that’s possible and to place an order.

I find trying to locate their site a bit of a mystery and the odd time I’ve found it, have difficulty navigating it.

New accessories for the Leva. Went from dark brown wood to olive wood as prefer the lighter woods.

Adrianmsmith I have a hissing sound coming exactly form the elbow fitting you have removed in that picture.

Currently managed to unscrew the nut, but stuck on getting the pipe out of the elbow, when I stumbled upon your post.

Do I understand you correctly that I need to loosen the boiler screws on the bottom and unscrew the nut of the other elbow to be able to get the pipe out of the leaking elbow?

Exactly that, yes

But, Do not completely remove the nuts from the boiler posts. You just want to create a little bit of movement ..

Cuprajake in terms of ratio of users, probably not. Weren’t you in a situation where you were making a choice between selling your DE1 and purchasing a boiler, on a credit card? It’s unfortunate to hear you had to debate that, but I’m sure a HB forum user would call it out as an equally if not bigger issue than buying something they can afford. We should be mindful of what we are putting out, if we don’t like what could come back at us. This stuff doesn’t help communities grow.

yeah, im not rich, all my espresso machines have been bought with money my gran left me when she passed a few yrs ago, i sell and buy the next, generally doesn’t cost too much to up grade/change machine that way
