chCoffee The only odd thing now is the preinfusion pressure shooting past 5 bar to trigger the 2nd phase so I still can’t put it back to auto.
But the mode is for the end of shot so unsure what you mean. It dumps at the pressure or time you have set.
What is your pre infusion set point.
If in auto mode by pressure set your end point.
Id suggest set pre infusion to 1.8 bars and end of shot to 7 bars. Once you have firmware 6 set shot start at 9 bars. But note that’s only when the timer starts recording the shot time. It won’t dump until end pressure is met.
See if your firmware is able to auto update and update the firmware. Normally it updates to firmware 5 and then a second session will update to firmware 6.

Set up a hot spot. Service name (ssid) SERVICE
Password 00000000
The password is 8 number 0 not the letter “o or O”
Turn the machine off
Activate the hot spot
Hold all 3 buttons in and turn the machine on keeping all 3 buttons held in . Release when you see….
(Some firmware versions are able to enter this mode by just holding the centre button and turning on but all 3 buttons held in seems to work no matter what. Just feels strange to do!!)
From this point depending on the fw you have you will see slightly different screens.
Press the centre button …..
Press again…..
Press again and then wait. Can take a few actual minutes but should spring in to action.
Once things start downloading or you see a progress bar do not do anything or interrupt it. Once completed it will reboot.
At this point turn off and back on after 30 seconds or so. See what firmware it reports. If its less than 6 repeat.
I believe if your phone is from that over priced fruit company you need to change the name of the actual phone to SERVICE as the hot spot name uses the phone name.
Don’t do as my wife did when she decided to update the firmware on the fish tank lighting. Read the message, updating firmware, do not interrupt or end this program. She promptly closed the program for some reason even she cant explain. One fluval brick!!
