Cuprajake Btw, grabbed the 54.4 mm from Jens - Torr Gold Convex. Later, we ordered 54.9 mm from Gilberto. The Torr is used for 16g dosage and Bravo if 18g.

Also got the IMS shower screen and IMS 32, which is gathering dust!

The portafilter that has come with it doesnt lock in at 6pm. Ocd going insane 🤣

Cuprajake As long as the basket is locked well, it can stand
the 11 bar pressure. So, DW about it.

Get the IMS 26 and if you like the IMS screen. You shouldn’t need the IMS 32 unless you will dose 20g-22g; both dosage will have too much head space, after tamping.

Jake, Dave will attest to this, but the standard baskets work pretty well. I have left mine absolutely standard. I bought a Goldfinger as i like a nice tamper and @Norvin was kind enough to manufacture a dosing ring. Temperature control will allow you to bring out the best in lighter beans, with luck!

My son’s were too - greased them as Dave suggested.

I assume it’s the double spring compression that you are indicating when you pull the lever down. It’s normal for us! 😊

Can anyone take a pic of his drip tray setup if he had setup a drain to an external container?

And if i want to plumb my tank to an external 5 gallon bottle i will need a pump do what is the best way to setup this? Like if i had an external pump how it will be connected to the machine to signal fill?

You need is a self priming pump with pressure switch operation, connected straight to the inlet of the Vesuvius Evo, When the Evo opens the fill solenoid, the pressure will drop and the tank will fill, because the pump should automatically run.

Berryterry I use a FloJet pump connected via the supplied hose to a 25L container at Farmer’s Markets. You need to change a menu option to tell it it’s plumbed but once done works seamlessly. At home I change the option back and run from tank

Berryterry For the drip tray there is compression fit plug. Remove it and there is a supplied clear tube that just plugs in. When converting back for use at home I use a small cut off piece of the same tube that has been sealed off and plug that back in as I lost the original plug

Hello all. My Evo is to ship this week I am told. I am ordering tamper from Gilberto and am considering his tamp stand while I am at it. Gilberto is asking me if I can measure the diameter of the filter holder just below the two tabs so he can advise if his filter holder will work. Can one of you measure that for me and I will pass to Gilberto?

I will have IMS baskets and stock, so Gilberto recommended a 54.9mm tamper and a 55.05 distributor for the IMS.
