drdre89 I currently have the Timemore Black Mirror Nano scale. Am wanting to upgrade to the Acaia Lunar 2021 model
Like most things, it’s about ownership and feeling good about it. Unless you need the solid feel, weight, responsiveness, accuracy, auto tare, blinking dots, shiny nonsense and whatever else, it’s most likely that he scales you currently own already have some of he features the Lunar have. Ultimately it’s a pair of scales, and I’m sure both do a good job, same as my 10 year old £4.99 one, which my only complaint is that it measures to 1 decimal place and it’s a bit laggy. But that doesn’t bother me.
Ultimately if you like the Lunar and are happy to pay the price they command, go for it, if that’s what you really want.
