Amberale On the other hand if one were to be slightly inaccurate in drilling the new hole in the gicleur then a tapered/beveled end would help it enter the hole rather than bouncing and bending.
No, it would probably bend the pin, wear the edge of the hole, or turn over the tip….when you next took the pin assembly out for lubrication, you might have further problems. In most tapered pin valves I have seen, the pin never leaves the hole…for the Lelit system, this isn’t the case.
