@MediumRoastSteam Road Rash is 👌
Natural Carbonic Maceration
It was a faster pour as the shot lasted just 22s for the usual 18g. The set temp were 90.5/96.5, which is the usual 0.5C mark up. I failed to check the group temp before pulling the lever. It was at 91.4C, almost a degree higher than intended. I should have glanced it before pulling the shot. I would tighten the grind a bit and see.
It was very good to drink as an espresso. A lovely coffee, which was very sweet, smooth and full of mango notes. The acidity was mild as we find in fruits like strawberry, nectarine and orange. A pleasure to drink as a black and also with milk.
Looking at the beans in natural light, I would say it is medium dark for me; If I were generous, it’s between medium and medium dark. In summary, it is on the darker side for me.
Recommended if some one is after the roast of this type and process. A very nice coffee indeed.
