Bought a bag of that Skylark deluxe blend after reading about it here, the one they say in the tasting notes is like Neopolitan ice cream.
Weirdly it does smell like cheap ice cream, it has that almost synthetic strawberry smell you get from the red Quality St creams everybody leaves til last (before chucking the even worse orange ones). Also has that slight chocolatey aroma.
Quite a light roast I’d say, brewed it up in my clever, not unpleasant but first cup wasn’t amazing, I kept getting those red Quality St flavours.
