I don’t mind Dave, I’m just a bit short of time at the moment.

Just pulled the first shot.
20g of Brazil Naturals, ground same setting as for the Bianca.
15 seconds of pre-infusion, 63 second total extraction, 40g out, auto stop at 5bar.
I think I am gonna like this a lot.

I still have smudges from the plastic wrap on the polished stainless steel.
What do you folks recommend as a cleaning method?
Warm soapy water?
Methanol?
Prepsol/wax and grease remover?
Sponge or micro-fibre cloth?

I finally got some time to set up the big girl to my desired (almost) configuration.

I always wanted black and shiny.
I also plumbed her today which was pleasantly easy.
I was surprised that the water tank actually contains very little water when plumbed.
The sensor sits about 2 inches off the bottom of the tank while the pump pick up sits on the bottom.
I’ll be sourcing some ebony for handles when I get time because I really like the black look.
I don’t mind the connectors from the wood panels either.

Personally I think they break up the blank panels and add a certain industrial look.

The kit that came with it is nice as well.
I have made one video of an extraction but it looks like I’ve got Parkinsons.
I’ll set up a tripod and try again.
The coffee is great but I haven’t managed to hit the 1:2 ratio since I went from the stock 21g basket to the IMS 15-18.
Still less than 20 shots in.
