Hi all - I had forgotten this thread and realised I could post now that I bought and own a Vostok.
For a couple of good reasons, I went stainless without wood options, and might tweak later with custom side panels or wrap. The stainless finish is not all perfect (satin mostly with glossier sections where welds have been ground), so I recommend painted.
I got the safety feature and the T bar (not that I use it much other than a clean purge).
Using bottled water (Volvic) rather than plumbed in.
I bought the two hole steam tip as the three hole tip is too much for small volumes of milk. We drink smaller volume flat whites. Mostly lighter roast and fruity notes. 18g in, 32g out.
The build is superb, the finish not so much. The coffee is great. I still think this needs a different drip tray top - more mesh design as otherwise anything creates a huge mess - purge the steam wand - messy! Purge the group head for a clean - messy!
It weighs a ton and has a new nickname of the beast or the spaceship (my wife).
ACS have been amazing to work with.
