I’m not in the camp that regards all “influencers” as being intentionally misleading or biased. Not pointing at you because I don’t know you (BTW welcome to CT!) but there are those that seem to regard the lot of them as second cousins of the Anti-Christ.
Most of us scan multiple reviews as well as forums before buying. It’s not so much that any one review should be taken as gospel, but they can be useful when put together, especially from those who are financially impartial such as forum members.
But at the end of the day, the final arbiter of taste preference is comparing grinders on a bench with side by side espresso pours. But given that not everyone can afford to buy and sell grinders regularly, reviews have their place.
But sure, there are those whom I trust more than others.
