Cuprajake I’ve posted a few times on this but doubtless not everyone reads or recalls every post.
If I had to have just the one grinder it would be the Moca SD with those Ditting burrs.
But now that more 64mm flat (DF series, Timemore, Zerno, Acaia, Lagom) and 83mm flat (Duo, DF83) grinders are being designed to make burr swapping easy and simple, I prefer to have grinders that feature in a grinder. It mitigates the need for upgrading in that I can simply pop a new burr set in, and mostly for the fraction of the cost of a new grinder.
It makes much more sense to me, to see the grinder as a platform for trying various burr sets so I can play around and eventually settle on what I prefer.
On that note, I’ve surprisingly secured more 83mm flat burrs that 64mm flats. 15 of the former and 13 of the latter.
