Dusk thanks for your input. I’ve thought about this a bit more.
I have a couple of these machines coming so probably the easiest thing is to set them upside by side with the same original burrs in my grinder lab.
I can then simultaneously grind, one at the lowest RPM and the other at the highest, and simultaneously poor each one in the 2 ecm puristikas and blind taste test over 3 days.
My guess is that I won’t detect a clear difference but it’s worth a crack and it will be a very easy method for comparison rather than testing smaller bracketed increments.
I’m aware that some say there is a difference and some say not.
I suspect that the difference, if I can detect one, will be greater with light roasted beans than with dark roasted. I do think that roast depth is a definite factor when it comes to comparing results from different burr sets or rpm or anything else to do with grinding the beans.
