im obsessed with cups, i look on ebay all the time, i have quite a collection of illy espresso cups, but i want some bigger cups, ceramics, thinner more delicate cups, but where to buy? etsy? or are there better options?

Big fan of the notNeutral flat white size and use their larger mugs for filter. I tend to prefer companies you can easily buy from to replace broken ones but if you’re feeling flush and not worried about buying one-offs then [this site](https://artistsandobjects.com/product-category/objects/mugs/) has some nice ones by independent potters. HAY Boroscilate are a bit different as another option. Or Japanese Fireking mugs if you want something totally different.

I have some nice ones off Etsy, they're very thin but surprisingly strong as I've knocked them countless times and not broken them. From Sabine Schmidt pottery. Might be worth getting in touch with a ceramicist for some custom ones.

dfk41 Can I just add to this. The cup I bought from Dor & Tan I use for brewed coffee only. I did not think it could make such a difference to the drink. They are not cheap though. I think the one I bought cost about £22 plus postage. This is their website

Suckered because hey are rubbish or because they come from Lidl? one of the ones that I bought from Lidl has failed because the small point where they are blown and should be sealed had a small hole in it allowing water to get between the layers. So, I know some will say you get what you pay for but looking even at Bodem ones on Amazon they are made the same way and have that little dimple, so I guess that could happen to any make that are made that way….yes?

I have the Bodum ones. Exactly the same happened. Thankfully Amazon replaced the set for me FOC.

Just purchased some bog-standard Lelit cup n saucers, for appearance purpose only you understand 😉

Still got a few Costa (cough cough!) in various sizes and a couple of Espro cups from my Sage and Mara forays ove the past couple of years. New machine, new cups eh!
