Cuprajake dfk41 depends you could flick between a lever profile and an normal 9 bar shot. three presses of a button granted you can nerd out to your hearts desire my mrs says it’s the best machine we have had 🤷 id still love another lever but been told no 😂
dfk41 Cuprajake I think @Ronsil bought one when he was a lot older than I am so maybe there is hope for me yet! Age definitely features though and I may never have had the exploratory minset that makes Decent ownership exciting. Hats off to anyone who has bought one and embraced the culture……but for the moment my Elizabeth ticks my boxes……how long for in another question I guess
delta76 Adrianmsmith why. looks even better in real life. And part of the sale will be donated to fight breast cancer. Proud to contribute to a noble cause :)
HarveyMushman I think they’re great looking machines. Just so neat and concise. I don’t have a particularly small kitchen and like how my machine/grinder look but I live with a slight disdain for how much imposing prominence they have in their scale. I’d have one I reckon, even with no need for all the programmable wizardry.
delta76 HarveyMushman look really grows on you, doesn’t it? For me De1 has never been a looker, not something that I am like “wow, that’s beautiful”. It looked “fine” to me and that’s that. But after a while, it becomes more beautiful. Form and size and weight, however, are perfect for me
HarveyMushman Indeed. I’m a designer by profession (albeit not a product designer) and the Decent has quite a refined design in my opinion, something that’s not always easy to achieve, especially by companies with little other product history. The only other machine in a similar vein I’ve seen that I think did an equally good job is the new Fellow machine. For similar reasons.
Cuprajake speaking of the extended warranty Your espresso machines: DE1PRO black 220V v1.45 sn#9327 - United Kingdom - Warranty: Included: 2024/02/21 -> 2026/02/21 (now) mines nearly 2yrs old. my god that has flown
delta76 Full terms and conditions btw https://decentespresso.com/warranty So you can buy extended warranty even if yours is out of warranty, as long as you do not need a repair currently (the out-of-warranty extension can only be used 60 days after purchase)
delta76 Isn’t it continuing after your current expires? Would be quite weird if you buy now and it’s overlap
delta76 Cuprajake only for out of warranty purchase. I will confirm with Decent but I’m pretty sure it works that way
JammyDodger Cuprajake if you buy an additional two-year warranty the clock only starts in the new period once the old warranty has expired
